The latest track from SCORS is a mesmerising offering that merges a sense of soulful beauty, with a folky psychedelia. Slow, delicate beats undercut a twiddly, treble-heavy guitar and the deep tones of Jake Passmore as ‘You And I Get Along’ builds towards a laid-back, memorable chorus. The band explain that “When we made this particular number we decided to write a proper love song with little to no sad undertones. We made use of quaint and slightly clichéd lyricism to reflect this. Here we have You & I Get Along - a song about longing, lust and affection with the narrator putting into words their idyllic view of their lover.” The hype that follows each of SCORS’ releases is well deserved and it is exciting to see what they’ll come up with next. -Dan Peeke
